Rio

Andalusian gelding

Initial Assessment

Rio has been unshod for some time, but I began trimming him in July.  His left front is considerably healthier than the right front, with good heel height and better overall proportions.  Right front has deep and probably chronic thrush, which is likely to blame for the excessive heel and clubby conformation of that foot.  Hind feet slightly imbalanced mediolaterally, but healthy overall.
