Bob

Quarter Horse gelding

Initial Assessment

Bob has nice, big, round front feet, and should make the transition to barefoot easily.  While I found nothing unusual about his hind feet, he was reluctant to weight his left hind before and after I pulled his shoes and trimmed him.

Recommendations

Soaking for thrush is recommended to help open up Bob's heels/frogs.  Diet assessment and balancing will help improve horn quality and eliminate thrush.
